A usability test was conducted on Reiss.com to find faults with the existing system. New features were then added to solve these outstanding issues.

The Problem

The main problem with the existing site is the lack of information regarding suiting and tailoring. Not only is the user journey through this process confusing, but it does not give much clarification to aid the user when buying a suit.

The Solution

This issue was rectified by a feature that allowed users to filter details of the suit that they wanted. Button detailing, suit fit, pocket detailing and double or single breast filters were located on the left hand side of the screen, whilst results of these filters were shown on the right.

The solution was designed using a variety of UX models including, a hierarchical task analysis, an object model and an adapted styleguide.
