THE PROPOSED METHODOLOGY
This process was established using card sorting exercises, literature reviews, consultations and brainstorming.

Research Stage
The research stage consisted of conventional primary and secondary sourced findings through diary study's and competitor research. The data was then coded to define specific weaknesses of current systems. Moreover, this stage consisted of divergent techniques through explorative data gathering, followed by convergent coding that highlighted key findings.

Ideation Stage
This section implemented divergent ideation techniques to generate initial solutions to the problems highlighted in the research stage.
Refinement Stage
Once initial solutions were generated these ideas were developed and tested in this stage. The feedback from this testing was then used to amend and develop the solutions further.

Finalisation Stage
To finalise the redesign a styleguide was applied to the Hi-Fi artboards and a final physical model was created to showcase the design.
